While Zambia may not have the best hotels and resorts in the world, it certainly has beautiful accomodation venues that will leave you satisfied and speechless.

In this article I highlight some of the hotels and lodges we have in Zambia. I cannot of course manage to describe the whole lot of them. But I pick just a few to give you a clue about the hotel environment in Zambia particularly Lusaka because I know them better than I would those located in other parts of the country due to the fact that I leave in Lusaka.

This state-of-the-art ultra modern facility is strategically located in a cozy part of town. A 5-minute taxi ride from the the town centre or 10 minutes ride from the airport is all it takes to get to his place. The hotel is a 5-star rating having a wide range of amenities to make your stay a pleasant one. From events to exercise facilities to Spa to  meetings and entertainment, Latitude 15 degrees is nothing short of excellent.

 The
other side (an exclusive membership program)
This is a streamlined social and networking club where members no longer have to stick to rigorous rules, dress codes and committees. As a member of The other Side, you just have to be yourself,  mingle and have a wonderful time with others. Membership comes with its own privileges among them you are entitled to a wide range of foods to choose from, treadmills to keep your heart racing, desks and benches for your relaxation, massage beds for a soothing massage session and the club itself serves as a platform to meet both familiar and new people.

The Gym
They have dumbbells and kettlebells, elliptical trainers,  plus weight cages, bikes and rowing machines among others. The gym is well stocked to give you the perfect workouts, plus if you are a local you can become a member of the gym.

 Lodging
They offer world-class lodging facilities with their 32 guest rooms and the three 2 bedroom suites to accommodate all sorts of travellers.

Spa
The spa offers amazing packages to keep your body relaxed and rejuvenated. They have several packages in specialised massage treatments, specialised body treatments, renew, quick steps, manicures, pedicures, waxing and  other treatment packages.

The works
Is an all-in-one workstation which serves as your office away from your office. The Works is equipped with facilities including Wi-Fi and IT support that will enable you to carry out your office work in an enabling environment.
You also have access to the gym, spa and The Other Side Club as a result of being a member of The Works.

Meetings
They have conference and board rooms to accommodate up to 70 people all furnished with large screen TVs, projectors and Wi-Fi to facilitate presentations or meeting proceedings.

Events
Latitude 15 degrees as a private space to cater for all kinds of events. Whether it be weddings, birthday celebrations,  art exhibitions, fashion shows, concerts or any other special occasion, latitude 15 degrees as you covered. You can even have a personalised occasion, just reach out to them and they will organise and make it happen.

This is one of the best hotels in Lusaka City, but don't take my word for it, just take a look at the reviews and ratings from actual customers who have had a wonderful experience with them.

The Lusaka Hotel is the pioneer as far as the hotel industry goes. It was the first to be set up in Luska Zambia.  This 3 star relic dates back to as far back as 1914 when a Canadian couple Mr  and Mrs Councell established it.  The hotel has been refurbished and given a facelift to match that of a modern facility while preserving the classical feel.
It is strategically located in the central business district (CBD) along Cairo road a major and busy road characterized by business activity and social interaction.
The hotel vicinity is surrounded from all sides buy essential facilities including;- shops, shopping malls, major banks (including the bank of Zambia) car parks, boutiques, the post office, pharmacies and taxis ready to take you anywhere you might wish to go.

      Facilities
Pool
The hotel has a pool in its inner courts to accommodate your swimming needs.

It has 2 rstaurants
1) The Chakudya restaurant: a restaurant featuring international and local cuisine. It's also well known for it's traditional oxtail which dates back to the 1960s. Their chefs also provide outdoor catering for over 800 people with ala carte and buffet menus.
2) The Bambino restaurant: Situated by the pool side, the outdoor setting offers coffee menus and grill menus amidst the beautiful sound of a nearby small water fountain.

Conference and function venues
Whether it's cocktail parties, workshops, conferences, seminars, weddings or private functions, the Lusaka Hotel has three (3) large enough and well furnished rooms to host the event.
The Lubrandt room can take up to 80 banquet occupants, 100 cocktail occupants, 100 theatre occupants, 60 conference occupants and 60 board room occupants.
The Taylor room can accommodate up to 20 banquet occupants, 35 cocktail occupants, 30 theatre occupants, 25 conference occupants and 20 board room occupants.
The Mtonga room can take up to 40 banquet occupants, 50 cocktail occupants, 50 theatre occupants, 35 conference occupants and 40 board room occupants.
